On behalf of the Tiverton Athletics Boosters Club, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who made our second annual golf tournament a success. The fundraising event took place on August 15 at the Montaup Country Club. No one drove away with the “hole in one car” generously donated by Route 44 Hyundai, but all had fun trying. One lucky golfer won a week’s vacation to an RCI Property at the exciting “closest to the pin” cannon shoot sponsored by Leaderboard of Boston.
We are truly grateful for our amazing sponsors including BayCoast Bank, Manheim New England, Olympic Physical Therapy, Tiverton Co-Ed Basketball Camp, KP Manning, Montaup Country Club, Route 44 Hyundai, Phillips Painting, Woody’s Carpentry, THS Class of 2005 and 2015, Tiverton Police Department, Leaderboard of Boston and Atria Aquidneck Place. We would also like to thank a number of local businesses and friends who donated items for the raffle including George’s Gas, Linda Larsen, Sally Rego, Patricia Brigham, Lynn Nicholas, Kim Kaiser, Zak Mark Landscaping, Gary Doster, Jenn and Randy Costa, Absolute Bliss Day Spa, Madeleine Sroczynski, Gerry Dupont, and the McKinnon Family. We are in the process of planning our third annual golf tournament, so stay tuned for more information about next year’s event!
