In response to Lou Cirrilo’s letter posted last week, Kudos to his definitions between Public Servant and Politician. We need fewer Politicians and more Public Servants.
Our Democratic process is, the People elect Public Servants to speak
for the People. Definition of a Rhode Island Politician is to pass laws to benefit himself, or his party, funnel taxpayers’ money to his/her personal interest, and most disturbing is stealing tax dollars for personal gain.
I do not think our forefathers, when writing our Constitution, would ever have dreamed of the issues Rhode Island taxpayers have seen.
