Perhaps a polite mob is called for, particularly at Town Council meetings. Or maybe it would better suit those outraged to close Town Council meetings to any and all mobs, real or imagined.
Might it be instructive to examine how the views and behavior of certain TTA-affiliated council members might have contributed to the spirited opposition of certain “mob” members? By the way, any good dictionary (remember them?) provides several meanings of mob, most thoroughly pejorative.
What joy can there be in calling others a mob? What gain might be achieved by vilifying those with opposing views? I call for larger mobs, but polite mobs, so as not to offend the offensive.
