Two summers ago, we fought off the very wealthy PawSox owners’ blatant money grab to heavily subsidized their move to Providence. We prevailed.

Now, they are at it again.

To the editor:

Two summers ago, we fought off the very wealthy PawSox owners’ blatant money grab to heavily subsidized their move to Providence. We prevailed.

Now, they are at it again.

If I make a bad investment, no taxpayer money will bail me out. Why then do these wealthy white men want Rhode Islanders to bail them out?

Better they leave Rhode Island altogether. Their product is in decline as their plummeting numbers indicate. Let them own the mess they got themselves into.
