To the editor:
1. Variances should not be granted to change the Town of Warren’s setbacks and side yard requirements. This is not a hardship, and the amount of buildings should fit into the blueprint. When the developer can’t fit the amount of buildings in the proposed development without variances then the amount of buildings should be reduced, creating more green space.
2. Colonial Drive will be fenced off with only the fire, police, and rescue departments having access with a key to the gate in case of emergencies. No pedestrian access to Colonial Drive unless the developer agrees to putting sidewalks the length of Colonial Drive and Asylum Road. (Take note: some residents of Colonial Drive have recorded in their deed that Colonial Drive would not be opened up).
3. Sewer lines and pumping stations on Child Street should be upgraded at the responsibility of the developer. The same if the sewer lines go out to Colonial Drive.
