Spandex rotatus came out of hibernation this Saturday, March 30 – I just heard the first cry of several heading east down Meeting House Lane. Is this a first?

To the editor:

Spandex rotatus came out of hibernation this Saturday, March 30 – I just heard the first cry of several heading east down Meeting House Lane. Is this a first?

Back home across the Herring Pond it’s customary for the person hearing the first Cuckoo each spring to write in to the Times along these lines.
