I am writing to urge the town officials to approve the Belvedere project on May 10.

I am a local business owner who has also spoken to many other local business owners, who are also in support of the Belvedere project.

Only we can speak directly to the fact that it is not always easy to run a successful business in Bristol. Some of us struggle just to make it through the winter months. Would you rather drive through town and see a building with character, that fits in with the backdrop of Bristol, or more empty storefronts?

This project is an economic catalyst. It will bring in 30 to 40 additional residents with income, who will shop in our shops, dine in our restaurants, and utilize the local services we provide. It will also bring in more new jobs for our locals. New business is good for existing business. 

We want progress in our town. Actually, we need progress in our town.
