To the editor:

We at BEF would like to extend a huge thank you to those who volunteered on Saturday, Dec. 9 to help to make Barrington Education Foundation’s: Extraordinary Teaching and Learning: A Student Showcase a major success.

In spite of the snow, we had a fabulous turnout and saw lots of proud students and teachers at the event. We are so appreciative of those teachers, students and volunteers who gave up a time on their Saturday to give our students and educators the opportunity to showcase the fabulous programs that are being taught in our school system. And a special thank you to our event co-chairs Kara Kelly and Deb Sullivan of BEF for bringing this event to the community.

Celebrating 25 years, Barrington Education Foundation is a non-profit organization of volunteers who are dedicated to the support and enrichment of all students in the Barrington Public Schools. The opportunities our students and educators have are in part due to the support of our community.

BEF grants to our schools are possible due to individuals and the business community that value a well-rounded and challenging education for our children. For more information about BEF or if you would like to donate to BEF, please visit our website at www.barringtoneducation.org

Thank you again all for a making our community event Extraordinary Teaching and Learning: A Student Showcase such a huge success.
