Sowams Elementary School is so thankful for the support of our community to make our Octoberfest on Saturday, Oct. 14 a huge success.

Octoberfest is one of the few and the largest fund-raiser to benefit the teachers and students at Sowams. Despite Mother Nature not cooperating, the event was a wild success! For seven plus months, the Octoberfest Committee spent countless hours planning an event that would both raise funds for the school and would be fun for families in our community. Our success was directly related to the hard work of these parents, who spent precious time, including weekend hours and late nights, to make the day a success. Our school community is very lucky to have them!

We tripled our sponsorship dollars by the generous donations from multiple generous sponsors! We are very thankful to our gold, silver and bronze sponsors.

The Sowams community feels exceptionally lucky to have teachers, faculty and school leadership that are so dedicated to our children. We are blessed with an active and dedicated PTO board that always goes above and beyond. The parents in your community feel lucky to have all of you and hope Octoberfest supports all efforts to provide the best resources and environment for the professionals at Sowams and our children.
