Dear editor:

I am writing to you concerning the solar farm possibly being built in our town of Westport.

I am not a fan of doing this because it will affect the wildlife. I don’t want them to cut the trees down. I don’t want the trees and wildlife to be harmed. Thanks for reading this.

Dear reader:

My name is Michael Mosher. I am a Boy Scout from Troop 63, Westport. I think global warming is a real problem. The sun’s rays are getting trapped in the earth’s atmosphere. This is making the climate churn warmer. The ice caps are melting and water levels are rising. Soon (if this keeps up) cities will be flooded and the shores of any continent will be gone. This is why I am writing to you.

Dear editor:

I am a Boy Scout from Troop 63 writing you about the new school. This school is very good for Westport. I believe it would be beneficial because it will keep kids in our school system.

In my experience, the shuffling of students and lower budget made me leave but a new school will keep much more students in the Westport School System. Even though the high school will cost the local citizens more money it will help.

Dear editor:

I don’t think solar panel farms in Westport are bad. When people think of Westport they think of farms and land, not solar farms. The solar farms are damaging land and farms and I think no more should be built.

Thank you for your time.

Dear editor:

I am writing to you concerning the solar farms possibly being built in our town of Westport. I am not a fan of the amount of trees that are going to come down in order to build a solar farm. I am a fan of animal habitats and those would all be lost.

Also, it is a possible fire hazard to have solar panels in a field because there is a possibility of an electrical fire.

Those are my opinions about the solar panels possibly being built.

Dear editor:

I’m Matthew, a Boy Scout from Troop 63, and I’m concerned about the new school and how the community needs to create a vocational school because of the benefits of the, one, money — you can get a bigger budget and will bring kids and jobs into the community and will give an opportunity to learn a trade, like me in Diman Regional.
