Letter: Wherever you stand, vote at FTM

To the editor:

For all the registered voters in our town I hope that all of you will have spoken for the right to have your votes to be noted and counted. You, every one of you should be the deciders. Back in the day when the town was not so populated our present form of the FTM would have worked but not today. You, every one of you, are the ones who have the right to vote up or down at the polls whether you are voting for people to occupy the seats in your government whom you feel will stand up for you, or on what the issues are. And most of all that you speak out for your right to vote on these actions to be taken at the polls.

I hope that you voted for more open spaces at Nockum Hill and George Street. And I hope you voted for Lisa Daft, who is a kind of fiscal responsible Republican (even though I am a Democrat).

Thoughtfully,

Barbara Flanders
