Little Compton Police: Firewood heist solved

At 4:30 p.m., two vehicles collided at the intersection of Long Highway and Amesbury Lane, resulting in minor injuries to both drivers.

At 5:51 p.m., a car struck a rock and overturned in the driveway of 162 West Main Road, with minor injuries reported to the driver.

Friday, June 17

A resident reported at 7 p.m. that campfire wood had been taken from a roadside stand. The involved person was located at South Shore Beach, the owner of the wood was paid, and no charges were filed.

Saturday, June 18

Two cars collided at 12:54 p.m. on West Main Road as one of them was exiting a driveway. No injuries were reported.

After being stopped on Crandall Road for a seatbelt violation at 3:30 p.m., Edward Reynolds, 34, of Fall River was charged under a District Court warrant with failure to appear.
