Lorraine I. Gladue, 92, Bristol

Miss Lorraine I. Gladue, 92, of Hope Street, Bristol, died Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the Grace Barker Nursing Center in Warren. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was a daughter of the late Wilfred J. and Blanche (Blanchard) Gladue. 

A graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Bristol, Lorraine was a customer service representative for the Brown and Sharpe Manufacturing Corporation of North Kingstown, and formerly of Providence, for more than 30 years, retiring in 1982. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, Bristol. 

She is survived by a brother, Gene Gladue of Plattsburg, NY, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Earl G. Gladue, and a sister, Mildred Simmons.  
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, April 12, 2017, 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Wood St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
