PORTSMOUTH — Here are some highlights from the Portsmouth Police report from over the past week:
Thursday, Nov. 29
Lee E. Skalski, 29, of 520 Providence St., West Warwick, was charged with breaking and entering a building or ship during the daytime and vandalism with malicious injury to property after being arrested at his home by R.I. State Police around 7:30 a.m. The charges stem from an incident in which Mr. Skalski allegedly broken into a storage shed at Atria Aquidneck Place in February. State Police arrested Mr. Skalski after Portsmouth Police put out a warrant, and local police officers then took custody of him.
Adam T. Conheeny, 46, of 33 Holliston Ave., was charged with receiving stolen goods after being picked up on a warrant at 2nd Division District Court in Newport around 10:20 a.m.
Saturday, Dec. 1
Michael A. Adolfo, 31, of 216 Maple Ave., Newport, was charged with receiving stolen goods and driving after his license had been suspended around 3:40 a.m. Police pulled Mr. Adolfo over on the southbound lane of the Sakonnet River Bridge after receiving a request to check the condition of the operation.
Reynier F. Nina, 24, of 141 Myrtle St., Apt. 1, New Bedford, was arrested on a 6th District Court bench warrant related to charges of driving with a suspended license. Police pulled him over for a traffic violation on West Main Road at Melville School just before 4 p.m.s
Monday, Dec. 3
Devon T. Harnett, 31m of 126 Harvest Drive, was charged with driving while intoxicated after police pulled him over on East Main Road at Linden Lane around 1:45 a.m. after receiving a report of a suspicious auto.
Tuesday, Dec. 4
Larry H. Cook, 59, of 2714 East Main Road, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and driving while intoxicated around 8 p.m. Police pulled his over on East Main Road at Sprague Street after receiving a request to check the operator’s condition.
