Manuel Medeiros, 90, of Metacom Avenue, passed away on May 8, 2017 at Miriam Hospital. He was the husband of Maria (Bettencourt) Medeiros.

Born in Ludlow, Mass., he was the son of the late Joseph and Gilemena (Costa) Medeiros. He was the father of Michael Medeiros and the late Thomas Medeiros, and brother of the late Rose Perry, Evangelina DaCosta, Mariana Cabral, Macolina Brizida and Joseph Medeiros.

Mr. Medeiros was educated in Portugal and employed by Kaiser Aluminum before retiring.

Calling hours are Thursday, May11th, 8:30-10:30 a.m. at the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High St., followed by a 10:30 a.m. funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Bristol.
