PORTSMOUTH — For the third straight year, Web McDonald was the first runner to cross the finish line in the Portsmouth Business Association’s “Summer’s End” 5K on Saturday.
Mr. McDonald covered the course through the Common Fence Point neighborhood in a time of 19 minutes, 52 seconds.
Georgia Griffith was the top finisher among females.
The raced netted more than $2,300 toward two annual scholarships the PBA awards to two qualifying Portsmouth High School seniors.
