Come celebrate dad with us, this Saturday at the Mount Hope Farm Farmers Market. Get all you need to grill and BBQ at home from Windmist Farms and stock on fresh veggies from Foggy Notion and Roots Farm, plus ice cream, gift baskets, bread and more! SNAP Bonus Bucks points are now doubled thanks to our friends at Farm Fresh so every $1 you spend, you get a $1 to use on fresh vegetables, fruits, and herbs.

We will be offering FREE community yoga, provided by our friends from Beloved Yoga Studio 9-9:45, bring your own mat and water and start your day with some stretches and meditations in the field.

9-12:30 in the field! Plenty of free parking.

Meet our staff
Jim McGaw

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
