Mt. Hope soccer loses to Mt. Pleasant, 2-1, in D-II playoff game
Mt. Pleasant scored two second half goals to defeat Mt. Hope 2-1 during a Division II preliminary playoff game with Mt. Pleasant at Thomas Vendituoli Field on Friday night. Christian Johnson and Jose Grave scored for Kilties and will play Classical on Monday night.
Mt. Hope junior winger Umair Khan scored the Huskies goal in the first half assisted by senior Jordan Lapre. Huskies senior goalkeeper Gabriel Saez made 10 saves. Mt. Hope ended their season with a 9-8 record.
