As part of its 300th anniversary celebration, Barrington Congregational Church members raised money to replace the weathervane that had fallen into disrepair and needed to be taken off the building in 2015.
The new weathervane was recently installed atop the church spire.
This was not the first time the weathervane had to be replaced — the congregation had to install new weathervanes following hurricanes in 1938 and 1954.
