'Night at the Mansion Halloween Haunt' returns to Linden Place

Posted

Back by popular demand, Linden Place, an 1810 historic home in the center of Bristol, R.I., is hosting its second annual "Night at the Mansion Halloween Haunt" on Thursday, Oct. 27, from 7 to 10 p.m. This night of Halloween-inspired fun includes ghostly candlelit tours of the mansion, spectacularly decked out with hair-raising decor, live entertainment, pop-up prizes, dancing, cash bar and more.

Come in costume and brush elbows with the spirit of actress Ethel Barrymore, observe a séance in the Victorian dining room, listen to real life ghost stories from Bristol’s past, and witness award winning Las Vegas mentalist, George Saterial, read minds and perform his interactive magic show. Head outside if you dare and soak up the spooky atmosphere of the gardens then head into the ballroom for dancing or for your very own tarot card reading.

“Halloween is such a popular holiday that people look forward to all year long. What better place than a 212 year-old mansion for a night of spooky fun? After the popularity of 2021’s event, we just knew we had to bring back the party to Linden Place,” said executive director, Susan Battle.

This event is appropriate for those ages 18 and up. Tickets are $55, $50 for Linden Place members. All proceeds go toward the restoration and preservation of Linden Place.  For more information and tickets, contact the Linden Place office at (401) 253-0390 or visit www.lindenplace.org
