Little Theatre’s upcoming production of “On Golden Pond”, opening March is a treasure which resurrects memories of the 1980s iconic film starring Henry and Jane Fonda, along with Katherine Hepburn. It is a story that brings the characters, as well as the audience, to the realization that “…life is a precious and fragile thing” which moves along much too quickly. The playwright, Ernest Thompson, has wonderfully brought to life the people of Golden Pond: the shy father; the irrepressible, protective mother; the daughter and boyfriend finding love again; and the boy – son and grandson - for whom life is just beginning. They grapple with the twists of fate, learning valuable lessons in the process.
