Senator John A. Pagliarini Jr., (R-Dist. 11, Portsmouth, Bristol, Tiverton), invites artists and arts organizations in Senate District 11 to a meeting he is hosting Monday, May 23.

“This meeting is an opportunity to bring members of the arts community together to explore their needs in this special area of Rhode Island,” Sen. Pagliarini said. “I look forward to meeting and discussing ways to better support the work that is being done in the community.”

Members of the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts will attend the session. The council provides support to individuals and non-profit arts organizations through its grant programs.  Arts council staff will be present to review current grant guidelines, and will be available to provide information and assistance to those interested in applying for support.
The meeting is from 4 to 5 p.m. at 10 Wardwell St. in Bristol, adjacent to Linden Place. Those that plan to attend may RSVP to Randall.Rosenbaum@arts.ri.gov
