Peter “Piach” Edward Goulart, 54, of Asheville, N.C., formerly of Bristol and Little Compton, R.I., passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 4, 2017. He was the son of the late Alexandre Goulart, Jr. and Louise (Corriea) Goulart.
Peter graduated from Middletown High School and attended classes at Rogers Vocational School. After graduation, he moved to North Carolina, where he had since resided. He was the proud owner of Canine Shear Heaven dog grooming business for several years.
His creative spirit was reflected in his jewelry design, home renovations and furniture restoration, among several other hobbies.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Alexandre Goulart III. He leaves his stepmother, Lois (Guptill) Goulart, brothers Richard Goulart, Thomas Goulart and Charles Pimental, in addition to sisters Lisa Crain, Linda Goulart, Luanne (David) Nevitt, and Lizbeth Bailey, in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 10, at 10 a.m. at St. Michael’s Church, 399 Hope St., Bristol.
