Hundreds cheered as Warren kicked off the holiday season on

Friday night when St. Nick and Warren dignitaries hit the switch, lighting downtown with thousands of Christmas lights.

Before Santa came, The Mt. Hope Vocal Ensemble sang holiday favorites, Jingle Bells, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Silent

Night, and others from the steps in front of Town Hall.

Santa lead the parade, riding atop a decorated Engine One and

waved to families lining Main Street. The Federal Blues blasting muskets and the Mt. Hope Marching Band pounding on drums followed Santa to the steps of Town Hall.

Before the parade, Children visited Santa and received candy canes and cookies at the Baker Street Fire Station.

Circus Dynamics performed two fire shows in front of large crowds on Narragansett Way.
