The Tiverton tennis team lost to North Providence,4-3, in the Division III championship at Slater Park on Sunday afternoon.
Suzanne Buckley, Mackenzie Pelletier and Abby Forcier won their matches for Tiverton to tie North Providence 3-3, as the third doubles team battled to win their match in the third set.
Tigers third doubles team Olivia Andrade and Marissa Cayer of Tiverton lost a heartbreaking match to Sarah Taylor and Julia Jaspar of North Providence to end the game and match, 7-5, 6-7 (2), 7-6 (1).
