King Philip Little League in Bristol kicked off another season of baseball Saturday morning during its annual Opening Day.
Dozens of young ball players took the field at Veterans Park on Veterans Memorial Parkways Saturday, May 2, at 10 a.m. for the first official day of baseball, though some games had already begun. Bristol Parks and Recreation Director Walter Burke threw out the ceremonial first pitch before a full day of games began.
