Police filing felony assault charge against Bristol man
Bristol Police have filed two charges against the man arrested earlier today on Naomi Street. Richard Coelho, 60, is being charged with domestic felony assualt and domestic disorderly conduct.
Coelho is expected to appear before a bail commissioner later this evening. Coelho was taken into custody after allegedly brandishing a gun and threatening his son during a domestic dispute earlier this afternoon.
Police also seized multiple guns and will be investigating the registration and history of the weapons.
