Police greet the public for National Night Out (photos)
PORTSMOUTH — Members of the Portsmouth Police Department came out in force Tuesday to greet the public for National Night Out at Glen Park.
The annual event is a community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer and more caring places to live.
There were games, vendors, a bounce house, food trucks and more at Glen Park.
