Barrington Police are investigating a breaking and entering at a Fessenden Road home that occurred on Thursday, Dec. 7.
Police said the homeowner called the station after he received a notification that his home’s basement door was unlocked.
The homeowner could also see footage from the security cameras that showed a man walking through the home. Police described the suspect as a male party wearing a hoodie, khakis and a mask over his face.
Police said about $4,000 worth of items were stolen from the residence.
Meanwhile, a Barrington resident stopped into the station and said she was out for a walk when she found three packages on the side of Fessenden Road. She said the packages were addressed to different homes in town. Police said the packages were likely taken from homes and dumped on Fessenden.
