TIVERTON — A man is alleged to have robbed the Bank Newport Branch at 599 Main Road in Tiverton on Wednesday at 2:40 p.m., and police are asking for the public's help in identifying him.
The suspect was wearing a lime/yellow long sleeve unbuttoned shirt, a gray t-shirt, gray sweat pants, and white tennis shoes. He had on a two-tone baseball cap carrying a red white and blue emblem of the United States.
The suspect was last seen fleeing from the bank toward Main Road If anyone has any information regarding the identity of the suspect, whose image appears in bank surveillance photos, please contact the Tiverton Police Department, Detective Division at 401-625-6717.
