Barrington Police are looking for more information about a tan-colored pick-up truck that was used during an illegal dumping incident.

Police said surveillance footage shows a man drive the tan pickup to an area near the American Legion Hall on Legion Way and dump a number of items — two full-size mattresses, living room furniture and a small refrigerator. Police said the incident occurred at noon on Saturday, March 30.

Police also said the video footage shows the man return with a sofa in the back of the truck, but he did not dump it because other people were in the area. The same sofa was later discovered dumped on South Lake Drive.

Anyone with more information is asked to call police at 437-3930.
