PORTSMOUTH — Senior forward Haley Alves scored 17 points and went nine for 10 from the free throw line as the Portsmouth High School varsity girls’ basketball team beat Rogers on Wednesday, 49-37.
The game was the second of two the Patriots played during the non-league Barrington Boosters Holiday Tournament at Barrington High School Tuesday and Wednesday.
On Tuesday, Portsmouth defeated Juanita Sanchez Complex, 55-51.
