Portsmouth overwhelmed by Mt. Hope in girls’ lacrosse

BRISTOL — The Portsmouth Patriots girls’ lacrosse team dropped to 2-2 in Division II after losing to Mt. Hope High School in Bristol Friday afternoon by a score of 11-2.

Mary Arkins and Ally Armin scored for Portsmouth, while Kelly Gardin made 18 saves for the Patriots.

The Patriots next play today, April 17, when they host Narragansett High School at 4 p.m.

After that, the team will host Pilgrim at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 24.
