Portsmouth Police deal with several domestic incidences

PORTSMOUTH — Here are some recent highlights from the Portsmouth Police report:

Monday, June 26

Anastacia Inman, 19, of 61 Cedar Ave., was charged with domestic assault after officers went to her home in response to a call for service around 3:45 p.m. According to police, a verbal argument escalated to the point where Inman assaulted a 40-year-old Portsmouth woman.

Friday, June 30

Patricia A. Slaby, 66, of 833 Forest Park, Middletown, was charged with domestic assault after officers were called to an East Main Road residence around 11:45 a.m. for a report of a domestic disturbance. The victim was a man who lives in Middletown, according to police. 

Saturday, July 1

Malta De Fatima Pertinhes, 57, of 2050 East Main Road, was charged with several offenses after officers responded to her home at about 10:30 p.m. to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance, police said. When they arrived, she became belligerent with officers and toward her boyfriend before actively resisting being taken into custody, according to police. Officers also determined that an assault had taken place between the two on Route 195 East in Providence, which was subsequently handled by Rhode Island State Police, police said. De Fatima Pertinhes was charged with domestic disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and obstructing officer in execution of duty. She was held overnight at the police station to await her morning arraignment, according to police. 

Elizabeth Kelley Janice, 28, of 13 North Precinct St., Lakeville, Mass., was charged with driving under the influence, her second offense, at about 10:25 p.m. According to police, officers pulled her over on West Main Road after observing her vehicle strike a curb and continue to operate on two blown tires. 

Sunday, July 2

Kathryn McBride, 41, of 189 Sommerfield Ave., Burlington, Vt., was charged with domestic assault after officers responded to a Winston Drive home to investigate a report of a possible altercation. When officers arrived, they saw that the victim, a 41-year-old woman who lives in Burlington, had blood on her T-shirt, according to police.
