A truck containing 100 crates of rock crab overturned on West Main Road at Melville School shortly after 8 a.m. Police said a Fishermen’s Daily Catch truck, driven by Steven D. Ms. Barton said she was also turning right onto West Main Road from Bradford, but thought the truck was turning left. The truck impacted the car on the front, left side and overturned, police said. The accident tied up traffic on West Main Road for some time before the truck was towed away.

Ayala, 29, of 2787 East Main Road, was charged at 6:37 a.m. with domestic felony assault and domestic simple assault after police responded to her home for a report of a domestic disturbance in progress. A witness told police Ms. Ayala had thrown a chair at her, striking her in the shoulder, before punching her several times. Ms. Ayala then grabbed a knife and threatened to stab someone else, police were told.

Amanda K. Davis, 42, of 96 Dexter St., was charged at 9:29 p.m. with driving while intoxicated (first offense) and refusal to submit to a chemical test.
