PORTSMOUTH — Here are some highlights from the Portsmouth police report from over the past week.

Friday, April 21

Erin E. Catterall, 32, of 451 Warley St., Portsmouth, was charged with disorderly conduct (fighting/tumultuous behavior) at 1:10 a.m. A police officer patrolling Park Avenue said he saw multiple people in the parking lot of the Island Tap bar, with Ms. Catterall aggressively holding onto a male and yelling. The man told police that Ms. Catterall, whom he did not know, had punched him in the lip.

Saturday, Aug. 22

Cynthia M. LeBlanc, 36, of 26 Webb Place, Apt. 3A, Mansfield, Mass., was charged at 2:20 a.m. with driving while intoxicated (first offense) and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Shortly after midnight, police were dispatched to an Island Park home for a report of an intoxicated person whose friend was not allowing her to drive home. Police said they spoke with Ms. LeBlanc, who agreed to remain at her friend’s house. Less than 30 minutes later, however, police observed Ms. LeBlanc driving her car west toward Point Road.

David P. Canuel, 45, of 301 Canonicus St., Tiverton, was charged with domestic assault at 6:30 p.m. following a report of an unwanted party at the home of his ex-girlfriend. Police said Mr. Canuel argued with the woman and thew a cup containing iced coffee at her. Mr. Canuel was arrested by Tiverton police around 5:30 p.m. and Portsmouth took custody of him.

Sunday, Aug. 23

Emily S. Velez, 22, of 58 Burnside St., Providence, was arrested at 11:50 p.m. on a bench warrant issued by Third District Court. The warrant was revealed after Ms. Velez’s car was stopped on West Main Road because its rear registration plate light was out.

Two males — ages 16 and 18 — were charged with disorderly conduct after police responded to Berkley Avenue shortly after 5 a.m. for a report of three suspicious males walking around and causing a disturbance. Police found Zachary S. Goldman, 18, of 81 Rhode Island Boulevard, sitting on a rock wall with the 16-year-old nearby. Police said they were uncooperative, disruptive and showed signs of intoxication. Police said they found a plastic bottle containing apple juice and rum between the legs of Mr. Goldman, who was also charged with underage possession of alcohol. Police said they found a glass pipe used to smoke marijuana in the 16-year-old’s front pocket.
