PORTSMOUTH — Hometown hero Hannah Wertens sang “God Bless America” during the seventh-inning stretch of Tuesday night's Boston Red Sox/St. Louis Cardinals game at Fenway Park.
The 14-year-old, who’s battled leukemia for 11 years, also did an interview with NESN broadcasters beforehand in promotion of The Jimmy Fund.
