Primiano — Your vote will determine Barrington's future

Posted

In my previous candidate statements I talked about a variety of issues affecting Barrington and how I will address them if re-elected. Now it is time for you to weigh in on Nov. 6. Your vote is very important and will help determine the future of Barrington.

My vision for Barrington is simple: to maintain our strong fiscal position, support our schools, provide excellent municipal services, invest in our community, and keep taxers affordable.

As a lifelong resident and local business owner who raised my family here, I appreciate and understand all that makes Barrington a great community. I also understand that we need to address the realities and opportunities of the 21st century.

Four years ago I was honored to be elected to serve on the council. In my first term I strived to represent you with honesty and integrity, and always put the interests of Barrington residents first. I hope I have earned your confidence and your vote for a second term.

Stephen Primiano

Barrington

Mr. Primiano is a Republican running for Barrington Town Council.

A lifelong Portsmouth resident, Jim graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1982 and earned a journalism degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. He's worked two different stints at East Bay Newspapers, for a total of 18 years with the company so far. When not running all over town bringing you the news from Portsmouth, Jim listens to lots and lots and lots of music, watches obscure silent films from the '20s and usually has three books going at once. He also loves to cook crazy New Orleans dishes for his wife of 25 years, Michelle, and their two sons, Jake and Max.
