Providence Boat Show this weekend

The three-day Providence Boat Show offers one-stop shopping for every kind of boating enthusiast. Brokers will feature hundreds of new and used boats, from cruising and fishing boats to stand up paddleboards, jet skis and sailing dinghies, while dozens of exhibitors will showcase a wide range of boating equipment, electronics, gear and clothing to fit every need. Show highlights include appearances on Saturday and Sunday by former New England Patriots Defensive End and two-time Super Bowl Champion Jarvis Green (pictured) cooking up his Oceans 97 shrimp; the Progressive Pool for practicing docking, along with a second pool for racing radio controlled boats; “Reel Island” for learning inside tricks from Big Game Sport Fishing and experiencing the reeling in of a big fish with the fishing simulator; educational seminars hosted by Annapolis School of Seamanship; and sea-to-table culinary presentations by top chefs.

WHERE: Rhode Island Convention Center, One Sabin St., Providence
WHEN: Friday, Feb 2, noon to 9 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 3, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sunday, Feb. 4, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
