Barrington police responded to a Meadowbrook Drive residence after receiving a 911 call for a fight in progress.

Officers spoke to a witness who said some men from a pool company were working at a neighbor's house when a fist fight broke out. The witness said one of the men was badly beaten.

The men had left the scene before police arrived, but officers were able to track down the owner of the company. The pool company owner said he had gotten into a fight with his son because his son was spending too much time on his phone and not enough time working.

Police are still working on this investigation.
