Robert H. Stark, 80, of Barrington

Robert H. Stark, 80, of Barrington, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2018 at Hope Hospice in Providence.

Mr. Stark was the husband of the late Kathleen Arnold (Oakes) Stark.

Robert, was born in Providence a son of Rosseter and Mabel Stark.

He was a tool maker for EMC, for many years and was also a cook on the Providence tug boats.

Mr. Stark was a cook while in the US Army.

Robert was a lifelong Barrington resident, he loved to sail, fish, hunt and cook.

He enjoyed spending time in his cabin in Maine, and was a handy man and was called “Mr. Fix It”.

Mr. Stark is survived by his daughters Pamela Nestell of Barrington, and Susan Martines of North Kingstown. He was the brother of Ronald Stark.

Mr. Stark was the grandfather of Abigail, Corey, Nathan, Brandon, Isaac, Paige, Shileigh, Zachary, Josephine, and Logan, and also the great-grandfather of Jaxon.

Robert was the father of the late Carolyn Stark.

Cremation services, by the Smith Funeral and Memorial Services, Warren.
