Roger E. Fell of Tiverton, passed away peacefully at home in his 87th year, surrounded by family on Sunday, October 21, 2018.
Roger was born in Fall River, November 7, 1931. He was educated in the Fall River public schools, and went on to become a successful realtor and the CEO of American Beauty Exterior Decorators, Inc.
In his early years Roger enjoyed hunting and fishing. He served in the US Army from 1948-1951 both in the Far East and in Europe. Throughout his lifetime he was an avid reader who enjoyed sharing his knowledge of history and world events. He will also be remembered for his love of impromptu parties.
Survivors include his loving wife Dolores A. Fell; a son, Gary Fell of Westport; five daughters, Karen Kelley and her husband Daniel of Little Compton, Cheryl Dore and her husband Wayne of Westport, Nancy Moniz and her husband John of Fall River, Sandra Cabral of Fall River, and Cori Woodworth and her husband Scott of Tiverton. He is also fondly remembered by 11 grandchildren, Daniel, Nathan, Kyle, Kara, Ian, Matthew, Michael, Laura, Kayleigh, Allison and Genevieve; and nine great grandchildren. Roger was also preceded in death by his mother Doris V. Whitten; a brother George L. Fell and his loving grandparents, George and Mary Fell.
A prayer service will be held on Thursday, October 25, at 11 a,m, in the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River. Relatives and friends welcome between 10 and 11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
