To the editor:

The Sakonnet Times article of July 12, 2018 [see online version here: http://www.eastbayri.com/stories/tiverton-councilor-councilor-lebeau-explodes-at-meeting-stages-loud-opposition,53255] describing the immature and destructive antics of Councilor Randy Lebeau at a recent Tiverton Town Council meeting brought to mind a common remedy.

The Sakonnet Times article of July 12, 2018 [see online version here: http://www.eastbayri.com/stories/tiverton-councilor-councilor-lebeau-explodes-at-meeting-stages-loud-opposition,53255] describing the immature and destructive antics of Councilor Randy Lebeau at a recent Tiverton Town Council meeting brought to mind a common remedy.
The voters of the Town of Tiverton should give Councilor Lebeau the same treatment as given to young children who can’t control themselves - an extended timeout – in his case - from elective office.
