A new DUNKIN’ DONUTS DRIVE-THRU ON HOPE STREET… Are you serious? Do you know what the traffic’s going to be like, people trying to get out of Sayles Road? Our Planning Board is not interested in other people of Bristol. They’re only interested in, I don’t know what.

Thank you to the man that’s going around town KEEPING THESE FLOWERS BEAUTIFUL. I’m surprised there wasn’t any picture of you and the beautiful job that you’re taking care of these town flowers. Thank you!

I’d just like to say kudos to the committee that takes care of the HANGING BASKETS IN DOWNTOWN BRISTOL. They look awesome! Great job! Also, to the Highway Department for taking care of the wonderful monument of Christopher Columbus in Independence Park. My good friend, the maker, smiling down from heaven looking down at his wonderful work.

This is about the new DUNKIN’ DONUTS IN GOODING PLAZA. And Mr. Anthony Teixeira is giving the land that the town owns to this gentlemen, Mr. Christopher Prezeres, of Massachusetts. But why are you giving the town’s land to one private person. It reminds me of the Curt Schilling thing on a smaller scale. Why is he not paying for the land? And then maybe with that money, you could restore the parking lot that’s across from the ferry so we don’t lose that business. And closing that lot because you wouldn’t pay the rent because it was too much, but in the next breath, you’re going to give this man town land, when he certainly can afford it. (Editor’s note: Gooding Plaza is on town-owned land, leased to the private businesses.) And I’m sure you’re going to say he’s going to improve the drainage. Well, that’s great. He still needs to pay for it. The taxpayers of Bristol would like to know how that one came about. We don’t give town-owned land to private businesses without paying. In the long run, that was a shame to close down that lot because all the people that do business in that area, there’s not enough parking, OK? Look at the bigger picture, please.
