Events begin on Wednesday, May 3, with the Martin Middle School "Wildcat Band" spring concert under the direction of teacher/band director Susana Pimentel. The show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are also being sold at the door for $5 apiece.

Some Martin student musicians as well as a few of their peers from Riverside Middle School, instructed by teacher/band director Mark Maguire, return to the MMS auditorium to perform in the Invitational Honors concert on Sunday, May 7, at 4 p.m. Tickets are also $5 and will again be sold at the door.

Clarinetist Jacob Bergeron, percussionist Jake Iacavone and alto saxophonist Ethan Pereira represent RMS with Rasika Buchta on snare drum on Max DiStefano, trombone and Sam Willey on bass clarinet represent MMS. Pimentel serves as guest conductor.

In addition, the RMS Spring Band Concert is Thursday, May 18, at 7 p.m. at the RMS Auditorium. Tickets are $5 at the door.

Also, the RMS and MMS Bands will once again perform and march in the Legion Post 10 Memorial Day Parade on May 29.
