In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Benjamin Leland Lorch and his wife Odette Kraaijeveld of Berlin, Germany; Elizabeth Jordan Lorch and her husband David Dawes Wentsler of New York City; and Kathryn Woodbury Lorch and her husband Dennis O’Brien of San Francisco, Calif.; and two grandchildren, Isolde Mae Lorch and Lucien David Wentsler.

Born in New York City, Steve was the son of the late Hugo and Karola (Schack) Lorch. He was a graduate of Stuyvesant High School and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from MIT.

Throughout life, his extensive travel experiences were important and pleasurable journeys.

A celebration of Steve’s life will be held on Saturday, May 30, at 11 a.m. at the United Congregational Church, The Commons, Little Compton. Contributions in his honor may be made to the Little Compton Historical Society or Seeds of Peace. To send a tribute, please visit: www.waring-sullivan.com.
