The Confetti Kids are hosting a teen mental health awareness fair at Barrington Public Library on Saturday, Jan. 27, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Confetti Kids, a Barrington-based community service group, has been planning the fair for months. The event will include live music, presentations, guest speakers, a variety of gallery booths and a moving screening.
Co-sponsored by the Barrington Public Library, the event is free and open to the public.
The teen mental health awareness fair will kick off with some speeches from members of The Confetti Kids — that part of the event will take place inside the library auditorium at 11 a.m. It will be followed by the screening of the movie “Anxious Nation” at 11:30 a.m.
Guest speakers will follow the conclusion of the movie, at 1:15 p.m. inside the auditorium.
There will also be music and plenty of booths set up throughout the library gallery.
