Theresa Elenora Prenda, 88, of Bristol

Theresa Elenora (Rohrman) Prenda, 88, of Terrace Drive passed away on Aug. 5, 2018, at Silver Creek Manor.

Born in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late John and Emily (Miles) Rohrman. She is survived by her daughters, Margaret Godwin and her husband John of Bristol, and Mary Jane Vierling and her husband Timothy of Pearisburg, Va.; grandchildren, Katie Godwin, Barry Godwin, Erica Prenda, Christopher Prenda, Elizabeth Merrix, Susan Vierling and Jacob Vierling; and great-grandchildren, Jillian Godwin, Aubrey Godwin, Raheem Williams, Emily Merrix, Phoenix Merrix and Chloe Davis.  She was the sister of the late Rev. John Rohrman, Henry Rohrman, Russell Rohrman, William Rohrman, Anne MacDougall and Emily “Sue” Forshee.

Mrs. Prenda was educated at St. Mary’s School and Bay View Academy. She worked at Rogers Free Library for 45 years before retiring.

In addition to the library, she was a housekeeper for many local families. She was a member of the Bristol Interfaith Choir and the former St. Mary’s Choir for many years.

Her funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 10, at 9 a.m. from the George Lima Funeral Home, 367 High St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 330 Wood St. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground.

Calling hours are Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.
