Theresa Hayden, 94, Tiverton

Theresa (Robert) Hayden, 94, of Tiverton passed away December 16, 2017. She was the wife of the late Lawrence Hayden and the daughter of the late Patrick and Marie (Toutant) Robert.

Theresa was a bookkeeper for Mariano Construction, A.J. Mitchel and co-owner of Hilltop Christmas Tree Farm in Tiverton. She enjoyed knitting, gardening and playing cards.  She was a homemaker for many years and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Theresa was the mother of Kathleen Bouchard (husband Robert) of Lakeville, Timothy Hayden (wife Barbara) of Seekonk, and Christopher Hayden (wife Jane Tamlyn-Hayden) of North Reading. She also leaves seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Theresa was also the sister of the late Rita Gamache, Leo, William, Louis and Albert Robert.

Special thanks to the staff of Elderwood of Riverside for their care and compassion.

Theresa’s family asks that, if possible, you honor her request to wear something red at her services.

Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, Saturday January 6, at 8:45 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Theresa’s Church in Tiverton at 10 a.m.  Calling hours are Friday, January 5, from 4-8 p.m. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
