Timothy Charles Mielbye, 60, passed away on October 7, 2018, at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach Florida. Timothy was residing in Vero Bearch, Florida, but was raised in Attleboro and lived most of his life in Westport.

Timothy was the son of Fredrick David and Anna Marie Mielbye. He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Ainsworth Mielbye; his siblings, Patricia Tanner, Cynthia Badgio, Matthew Mielbye, and Fredrick Mielbye; his two children, Austin Ainsworth Mielbye and Jena Vi Mielbye; and his grandchildren, Deklan Joshua Sowa and Coaley Kimberly Charest.

Timothy was an avid hunter and fisherman and worked as a carpenter and contractor. He was an adventure seeker and had many beloved stories to tell. Once living in Hawaii and later, Massachusetts with occasional trips to Colorado, Arizona and New York, he worked as a hunting guide for Adventure Games hunting, owned by friend Joe Sears.

He spent years commercial fishing for striped bass and also chartered fishing trips with father-in-law Albert Ainsworth. They operated "Little Fox Sportfishing" which was docked at The Back Eddy restaurant.

Tim had a great sense of humor and was fun to be around. He was always there for his family and would not hesitate to give his time helping others — he would teach his skills and inspire anyone who would listen.

There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, Nov. 24, at 11 a.m., at Westport Point United Methodist Church, 1912 Main Rd. Westport. Relatives and friends are welcome.

Following the service will be a reception at the Paquachuck Inn, 2056 Main Road, Westport.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Westport Point United Methodist Church, 1912 Main Rd., Westport, MA 02791

He will be missed and never forgotten.
